Hasbil Care Foundation supported Mowiz and Friends’ yearly football competition:
It was a sunny Saturday morning in Kaduna, and the excitement was palpable as children from all over the city gathered at the Ahmed Musa Neighbourhood Centre, Kaduna, grounds for the annual Mowiz and Friends football competition. The event, organized by the Sports Ride presenter and Maestro, Mohammed Mowiz Suleiman of Liberty FM Kaduna, aimed to promote physical activity, teamwork, and healthy competition among young people.
As the children took to the field, their energy and enthusiasm were contagious. But amidst all the excitement, the organizers were keenly aware of the importance of nutrition in supporting the health and well-being of these young athletes.
That’s where Hasbil Care Foundation came in. As part of their commitment to promoting healthy living and nutrition, the foundation donated 150 packs of 6 eggs to the event. The eggs were distributed to all the children who participated in the competition, along with a message about the importance of nutrition and physical activity in maintaining good health.
“Eggs are an excellent source of protein, vitamins, and minerals that are essential for growth and development,” said Hajiya Fatima Bakare Co-Founder of Hasbil Care Foundation. “By providing these eggs to the children, we hope to encourage them to develop healthy eating habits that will support their overall health and well-being.”
The children were thrilled to receive the eggs, and their parents and caregivers were grateful for the foundation’s generosity. As the competition came to a close, it was clear that the event had been a huge success – not just in terms of the football, but also in promoting healthy living and nutrition among young people.
As one of the parents noted, “Events like this are so important for our children. They promote physical activity, teamwork, and healthy competition – and they also teach our children about the importance of nutrition and healthy eating. We’re grateful to Hasbil Care Foundation for their support, and we look forward to next year’s event!”
