Hoodlums burst Custom office Carted away Food stuffs, other items

From Edo Elvis, Benin

Several items ranging from food stuffs and other valuables, were yesterday, carted away when hoodlums broke into the Nigeria Custom Service warehouse in Benin City.

The hoodlums, who hide under the ENDSARS protesters, broke into the Nigeria Custom Service warehouse and made away with bags of rice and other valuables items.

This prompted residents of the area to rush to the warehouse to also have their share of the goods.

Residents of the area were seen carting away what they could carry from the warehouse unhindered.

This is coming on the heel of the hoodlums, breaking into the Oko Correctional Centre in Airport Road and the Minimum Correctional Centre in Sepale road where they freed over a thousand prisoners just as they also set ablaze seven police stations and cart away weapons and ammunition in their dastardly act.

The Edo State Police Public Relations Officer, Chidi Nwanbuzor could not be reached for comment as several calls put across to his cell phone left unanswered.
