LBIC MD, Tobi Lawal Called Out Over Allegation Of Bribery, Forceful Acquisition Of Property ( photos)

The managing director of Lagos building investment company, Mr Tobi Lawal has been called out over allegations bothering on bribery, forceful acquisition of property, name dropping amongst other things.
In a message addressed to him which is made available to us, Bricktop Development and Advisory accused Mr Tobi Lawal of requesting bribes for an apartment which his company constructed under a JV with LBIC.
According to him, among the 16 buildings at Abike Court located at No 1, Rev. Ogunbiyi GRA, Ikeja Lagos, 11 apartments belong to him while the state agency owns five. Interestingly, Mr Tobi Lawal who is allegedly using one Lanre Obisesan as proxy demanded for one of  Bricktop’s apartments  as a bribe’. This was met with stiff opposition and sadly, Mr Tobi was alleged to have used his position to forcefully break into the apartment and damage it with an attempt to acquire it.
Mr Tobi and his proxy, Lanre Obisesan are alleged of name-dropping bragging with the governor’s name to forcefully take people’s property, claiming it belongs to them while they didn’t pay a dime.
“ Infact, he is extremely arrogant and proud and i am sure even the governor didn’t know his worth. It’s because of such characters like this that the performing governor of Lagos state almost lost his second term bid during the election. He is fond of using head of parastatal to perpetrate his acts and I advised them to get directives from the governor before listening to him. I also enjoined the IG and the CP to investigate the police he took along for his operations like this”.
Here is a copy of the message Bricktop Development And Advisory sent  To Him:
Good evening Mr Tobi Lawal.
I trust you have had a splendid day so far.
I note your incessant request for a bribe of an apartment in Abike Court, which my company constructed under a JV with LBIC. Please note that aside from my aversion to bribing public officers for the discharge of their duties, the rise in the costs of building materials occasioned astronomical change in the budget for the construction of Abike Court. Consequently, it is  practically and ethically impossible for me to pay you the requested bribe of one apartment in Abike Court(No,1 Rev Ogunbiyi Gra Ikeja Lagos)
I hope you understand my position and will not resort to  malicious campaigns against the project and my person in government circles. I do reserve all my rights in this regard.
Thank you for your understanding.
