ONIKOYI CALLS ON GENERAL PUBLIC TO DISREGARD FAKE SOCIAL MEDIA POSTING ON lMOTU COMMUNITY ACEDEMY SCHOOL, IFONYINTEDO

The Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government Hon, Agbetokun Olawale Wasiu has as a matter of urgency called on the general public to disregard the fake social media post regarding Imotu Community Acedemy, Ifonyintedo.

The post, which comprises a photograph of student writing the current third term examination on bare floor at Imotu Community Acedemy Ifonyintedo in Ipokia Local Government Area. This false update was made on Wednesday, 20th of July, 2022.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Onikoyi made this pronouncement after receiving a detailed situation report from the team he sent to the college for ‘on-the-spot’ assessment of the current state of the school.

While briefing the Council Chief, the team leader, Hon. Olabode Caleb Olateju reported that they inspected all the classes and school halls within Imotu Community Academy Ifonyintedo and discovered that there are more than enough furniture’s for the students and staff.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Moreover the student were seen writing their papers in a conducive atmosphere. “This observation runs contrary to what the published social media post depicted” says Hon Olateju.

Speaking further, Hon.Agbetokun Olawale Wasiu disclosed that the Principals of both the Senior and Junior Secondary School were interviewed on the controversial post which they simply referred to as “propaganda of highest order”.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Onikoyi stress that it is a well-known fact that the present government under the able leadership of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun (MFR) has been fully committed to rapid development of the education sector in Ogun state since his assumption of office.

The Council boss assured the general public that the author of this misleading and damaging, information should be disregarded completely. He further stated that his administration is not perturbed and will not be distracted with such false narrative.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hon. Agbetokun appealed to people to remain calm, law-abiding and go about their legitimate business in a peaceful manner. He charged them to co-operate and collaborate with his administration so as to bring further development to Ipokia Local Government.
