PAF Commends President Bola Tinubu (GCFR) Over Ministerial Nominees

The Patriotism Awareness Forum (PAF) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) over the competence, character and capacity of his ministerial nominees submitted to the national assembly for screening and confirmation.
In a press statement issued in Lagos by the group on Friday 4th August 2023, it stated that the ministerial nominees list “exemplifies the seriousness and focus of the President Bola Tinubu administration mantra of Renewed Hope to Nigerians by his choice of men and women of calibre and character who possess distinguished pedigree of service in the private and public sectors”.
The national spread, youthfulness, experience, gender sensitivity and competence of the ministerial nominees is not in doubt and an inkling could be gleaned from their spectacular performances at the Senate screening which leaves no one in doubt about their capacity and capability to assist Mr. President in piloting the ship of the Nigerian state for the collective good of all.
PAF used the occasion of the press statement to educate those quarrelling with the list due to the fact that some of the nominees are former public office holders, to know that the situation of the Nigerian state today, requires persons with experience, knowledge, character, capacity and capability which is not in short supply in the nominees who have all had distinguished careers of service whether in the private or public sectors and wonder when being a former public office holder became a criteria for disqualification of a nominee far and above competence, character, capacity and capability for public office?
The group also commended the Senate and it’s leadership for the seriousness, maturity and responsibility exhibited during the screening of the ministerial nominees and urged it to expedite action on the screening and quickly communicate the outcome of the exercise to Mr. President to do the needful of changing the gear of the Nigerian ship to a higher level for a smooth sail of Renewed Hope.
PAF congratulated the Nigerian people for being witness to a new dawn which the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration signpost for the future of the country and urge them to remain patient, steadfast, focused and committed to democracy and refuse to be induced or manipulated by fraudulent emergency public interest persons and groups attempting to mischievously take advantage of the present difficult economic times by peddling fake news, lies, falsehood and misinformation to confuse and incite to anarchy for political capital.
According to PAF, Nigerians should be rest assured that like the saying and the title of a book, “Tough times don’t last, but Tough people do” and together, we shall weather this economic storm and come out united, stronger and prosperous to the glory of God and benefit of humanity.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Your’s Sincerely,
E-signed.
