SENATOR ADEOLA COMMENDS GOVERNOR ABIODUN’S DEVELOPMENTAL STRIDES IN OGUN STATE

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, has been commended by Senator Adeola (YAYI), the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, for his recent developmental strides in the state.

In a press release signed by his Chief of Staff, Chief Kayode Odunaro, Senator Adeola praised the Governor for his unwavering commitment to the progress of Ogun State, particularly highlighting key initiatives that have significantly impacted various sectors.

Among the notable strides, Senator Adeola highlighted the establishment of the Nigeria Customs Training School in Ogun State. He noted that this facility was situated in the state due to the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration’s focus on ease of doing business and the creation of an enabling environment attractive to such significant investments. This initiative represents a major advancement in enhancing the professional capacity of security agencies, benefiting both the state and the nation’s security and economic landscape.

Senator Adeola also commended Governor Abiodun for introducing Soilless Agriculture, a revolutionary approach aimed at modernizing agricultural practices in Ogun State. This initiative is expected to boost food production, create employment opportunities, and improve the livelihoods of farmers across the state.

A major highlight of the Governor’s efforts is the recent flag-off of the harvest of a 200-hectare rice plantation in Magboro. This project, with a yield of seven metric tons per hectare, is expected to produce approximately 1,400 metric tons of milled rice. With an efficiency yield of about 70 percent, this could translate to around 20,000 bags of milled rice per cycle. Senator Adeola praised this milestone as a significant step towards ensuring food security and economic prosperity in Ogun State.

In addition, Senator Adeola acknowledged the recent flag-off of the Lagos-Sango Ota-Abeokuta road project, describing it as a crucial infrastructure development. The road, once completed, is expected to enhance connectivity, reduce travel time, and stimulate economic activities within and beyond the state, benefiting commuters and traders alike.

Senator Adeola further noted other impactful projects undertaken by the Abiodun administration, including the renovation and equipping of schools, health facilities, and ongoing rural electrification efforts. He emphasized that these initiatives reflect a government truly committed to the welfare and progress of its people.

Expressing his pride in being associated with the Abiodun administration, Senator Adeola assured the Governor of his continued support and collaboration. He wished Governor Abiodun continued success in his efforts to transform Ogun State, while praying for wisdom and strength as the Governor continues to lead the state towards greater heights.
