Sahara Weekly Reports That The Frontline Federal House of Representatives Member and Chairman, House Committee On Industry, Dr. Enitan Dolapo Badru has penned congratulatory message to President Bola Tinubu on his resounding victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
While reacting to the judgment, the HoR Member representing Lagos Island Federal Constituency 1 stated that the verdict was a reaffirmation of the collective choice Nigerians made during the 2023 Presidential Election.
Dr. Badru described the Presidential election as Free and Fair.
“Nigerians believe in Tinubu’s Leadership style cum capacity to lead the country. He is determined to revamp the economy and lift the citizens out of poverty to ensure prosperity for all”, He said.
Continuing, Dr. Badru noted that President Tinubu’s Policies will re-ignite trust in Government, address Security of Lives and Properties and unite the citizenry across the country. He also assured countrymen that there would be Paradigm shift in Governance.
“I enjoin Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu’s Administration as he pilots the country to greater heights” Dr. Badru concluded.
The Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPT) while delivering the judgments, affirmed the election of President Bola Tinubu and dismissed the petitions of Peter Obi of Labour Party and his Party and Abubakar Atiku and the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP).
The Chairman of the five-member panel of justices, Justice Haruna Tsammani said that the petitioner’s had failed to prove their allegations beyond reasonable doubts.
He stated further that the petitions were lacking in merit and consequently dismissed.
All the five Justices of the Tribunal unanimously dismissed the petitions filed by the Presidential candidate of PDP, Atiku Abubakar, Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
