TY Buratai Football Academy to Hold Novelty Match in Honor of Turbaning Ceremony

 

 

 

 

In a bid to celebrate the Turbaning ceremony of Betaran Biu and the conferment of the Degree of Doctor of Letters (Dlitt) Phd Honoris Causa by the Nigerian Army University Biu, the TY Buratai Football Academy has announced plans to hold a novelty match.

 

 

 

 

This announcement was made in a statement signed by the President of the Academy, Engr Hassan Mohammed Sarkin Yakin Garkuwan Keffi and made available to the press.

 

 

 

 

 

The highly anticipated novelty match is scheduled to take place on the 26th of October 2023 at the Biu Township Stadium. The match will feature TY Buratai Football Academy versus Biu United FC, promising an exciting clash between two formidable teams. Football enthusiasts and supporters from both teams are expected to flock to the stadium to witness the thrilling encounter.

The TY Buratai Football Academy, named after the renowned Nigerian Army General, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, has been a hub for nurturing young talents in the game of football. The academy aims to provide opportunities for aspiring footballers to develop their skills and pursue a professional career in the sport.

In addition to the novelty match, the TY Buratai Football Academy has also planned a Gala Night in honor of the Grand Patron of the academy. The Gala Night is scheduled to take place on the 27th of October 2023 at the Biu Township Stadium. This event will serve as a platform to recognize and celebrate the contributions of the Grand Patron to the development of the academy and the sport of football.

The President of the academy, Engr Hassan Mohammed Sarkin Yakin Garkuwan Keffi, expressed his gratitude to the Nigerian Army University Biu for conferring the prestigious Degree of Doctor of Letters (Dlitt) Phd Honoris Causa to the Grand Patron.
