Wicked mother of three in police net for inflicting injuries on a minor

A 35yr old mother of three Monsurat Olusanya, arrest by Ogun state police command detective of Sango police station for allegedly inflicts various degrees of injuries on the body of a 4 year old girl who is her niece.

Her arrest was confirmed by the state spoke person DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi followed a complaint from a CDA member of Tiluwalase community in owode ijako (name withheld) who came to sango division with the little girl on the 18th of October 2019 and reported that she is on the verge of being send to early grave if appropriate steps is not taken to save the little girl from the wicked aunty.

Sahara weekly online gathered that the suspect is a guardian to the minor who she has been staying with for over one year and being maltreating the victim since she is on her custody.

The suspect accused the victim for pouring a pot of soup away mistakenly, but she was not satisfied with the plead of the minor and put a knife on fire ,used the hot knife to inflict injuries all over her body, not only that she gave the little girl human bite on her stomach and lips.

Based on the report, the DPO sango police station CSP Godwin idehai direct his detectives to the scene where the suspect was arrested.

On interrogation, she admitted for been responsible for the injuries on the body of the victim but pleaded with the police to be lenient with her claiming it was that devil pushed her to commit the act.

The victim has been taken to hospital for medical treatment. While the suspect is detained at sango division , the biological parent of the victim have been contacted for them to come and take custody of their daughter.

The commissioner of police CP Bashir Makama has directed that the suspect should be charged to court as investigation is concluded. He also appealed to parents to know the type of people they will give their wards to if at all there is need to do so as many of the so called guardians are in the habit of maltreating children who are not their own.
